Alex “Jake” Harper, 86, widower of Marjorie J. Harper died on Sat. April 16, 2022 in Lexington, KY. He was born on Aug. 11, 1935 in Nicholasville, KY to the late William and Bessie Harper. Jake was a farmer and a longtime member of East Hickman Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Sherry (Darrell) Stinnett, Wilmore, KY; one son, Tony (Jennifer) Harper, Chattanooga, TN; grandson, Michael (Robbie Ashworth) Stinnett, Wilmington, NC; two brothers, Dewey Harper, Lexington, KY and Bruce (Sandy) Harper, Danville, KY. A visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 9am-11am at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing, followed by a service at 11am.
