Robert Bryan Clark
November 15th, 1932 - July 14th, 2022
Robert Bryan Clark, 89, husband of Joan Smith Clark died on Thurs., July 14, 2022 in Lexington, KY to be with his Lord and Savior and formerly of Crossville and Chattanooga, TN. He was born on Nov. 15, 1932, in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Lorenzo Columbus (L.C.) and Annie Jim Clark. Robert was a veteran in U.S. Army and worked as a sales representative for Zep Manufacturing until retiring. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville, TN and formerly a member of Southland Christian Church, Lexington, KY, an avid golfer, and gun collector. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joan; one daughter, Susan Diane Clark Webb, Lexington, KY; one son, Alan (Kathy) Clark, Nicholasville, KY; two grandchildren, Robert Chase (Emily) Clark, Centerville, OH and Sarah Diane Webb (Papal’s Girl), Lexington, KY; two great-grandchildren, Robert Brooks Clark and Charles Lane Clark; one sister, Martha (Michael) Whalen, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Frank (Pat) Clark, Atlanta, GA and Jim Clark, Cleveland, TN; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Virginia Robbins Clark; one son, David Bryan Clark; three sisters, Mary Ellen Haller, Carolyn Rollins and Elizabeth Ann Butler; one brother, Bill Clark. A visitation will be 12:30pm – 1:30pm Tues., July 19, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2pm at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens by Pastor Carl Peters. The pallbearers for the graveside service will be, Alan Clark, Chase Clark, Bill Clark, Terry Clark, Matt Clark and Mike Clark. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. clarklegacycenter.com
