Nancy "Nana" Phillips Littrell

Nancy "Nana" Marie Phillips Littrell, of Lancaster Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on July 24th, 2022 at the age of 75. Nancy was born October 2nd, 1946 in Gaffney, South Carolina to the late Dorothy “Dot” (Horton) and Lewis Phillips. Nancy was a beloved Mother, Nana, Aunt, and Friend to many. Nancy devoted her life to loving her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her greatest source of joy. She had skill beyond measure. Most notably, Nancy was renowned for her cooking, artistic vision, and ability to turn any house into a warm and welcoming home. Those who knew her will remember that she created beauty, gave generously, and loved fiercely. Nancy always made sure those who surrounded her were cared for. She will be dearly missed. Nancy is survived by her partner of twenty years Frank Martin, Gaffney SC, three sons, Bryan (Jennifer) Carter, Lexington, KY, Greg (Becky) Carter, Lancaster KY, and Ray (Dorine) Carter Waverly, Ohio; two daughter-in-laws Debi Warner Carter and Erika Carter; eight grandchildren Steven (Bailey) Halsey, Kinsey (Timothy) Nichols, Aubrey Carter, Abby Carter, Bradyn Carter, Rece Carter, Tye Carter, and Ivy Carter; and four great grandchildren Allison Nichols, Mollie Nichols, Oakley Nichols and Gracyn Halsey. Visitation will be held at the Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky on Friday, July 29th from 12:30-2:30 pm followed by a private family graveside service. She will be laid to rest next to her precious granddaughter Natalie Wynn Carter at the Lexington Cemetery.
