Jacob Aaron “Jake” Causey, 19, died on Sun., Nov. 13, 2022 in Lexington, KY. He was born in Lexington on Sept. 11, 2003 to Jeff Causey and June Logan Causey. Jake spent his childhood and teen years on the baseball field. He was a 2022 graduate of Lafayette High School and was working under his father, Jeff, to become a general contractor. Other than his parents he is survived by his girlfriend, Mallory Sacra; siblings, Elizabeth, Caleb (Kendra), Nathan (Morgan) and Drew Causey; three nephews, Bryson, Hayden and Gunner Causey; grandparents, Beverly Nichols and Zelda Causey; great-grandmother, June Bradshaw; three uncles, Jamie Causey, Aaron (Colleen) Logan, Michael Nichols; one aunt, Cindy (Gene) Burke; many cousins, Rebecca Logan, Alissa Logan, Matthew Logan, MacKenzie (Mark) Fitch, Jonathan Burke (Jaden Hyzer), Madison Burke, Aaron (Kayla) Causey and Amanda Causey. A visitation will be from 5pm – 8pm Thurs., Nov. 17, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing. A funeral service will be 11am Fri. Nov. 18, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
