Ben Gregory, 75, husband of Linda Elkins Gregory, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was born on February 11, 1947, in Dunbar, Virginia to the late Mary Hatcher and Mervin Gregory. Besides his wife, Linda, those left to cherish Mr. Gregory’s memory includes his son, Benson (Alicia) Gregory; grandson, Luke Gregory; and his brother, Fred Gregory. Mr. Gregory was a longtime Pastor in the Nazarene Church, serving in numerous churches and shepherding congregations in Ohio and Kentucky. He most recently served as Pastor of Buffalo Church of the Nazarene in Buffalo, Kentucky. He was in ministry for most of his adult life. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting, kayaking and hiking with his family and friends. The funeral service will be Friday, January 20, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will start at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Graveside service will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be given to International Orphan Rescue at helptheorphan.com.
