Steven Robert Butterfield

Steve Butterfield, a lifetime resident of Everett, Washington, passed away on March 2, 2018 after a six and a half year battle with multiple myeloma. Steve was born on June 8, 1953 in Everett, Washington, to Robert and Maxine Butterfield. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1971 and went on to attend Burnley School of Art and Design in Seattle, Washington. Steve loved his work in Architecture, most recently with TGB Architects located in Edmonds, Washington. Steve’s extensive research into his genealogy lead him to identify with his Irish heritage and culture, making Saint Patrick’s Day a favorite holiday. There was nothing more that Steve loved to do but to watch his son Jordan play basketball for the Seattle Pirates and Cascade High School. This extended to watching Jordan officiate high school basketball. Steve is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Cindy) Butterfield; son, Jordan R. Butterfield; brother, Bradley J. Butterfield; and Christy Bailey, a close friend of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Beck’s Funeral Home of Edmonds, Washington. A memorial service will be held at Bethany Christian Assembly Church located at 2715 Everett Ave, Everett, WA 98201 on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Flowers are always wonderful, but for those of you who desire, a donation to Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Facility located at 1100 Fairview Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109 in Steve’s name would be greatly appreciated.
