Walter Stevenson Blythe, 68, passed away on January 22, 2023 in Lexington. Walter was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 29, 1954 to the late James Whitley Blythe and Mildred Ruth Jordan. He was a cook with Cracker Barrel for 26 years and loved fishing and bowling whenever he could. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him. Walter is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Paul Huff) Mckinney; brother, Wayne Blythe; grandchildren, Kristin (Charles) Brown, Shalyn Carter, Josh Carter, Haley Fite, Justin Huff, and Chase Huff; and great grandchildren, Landon Brown, Haisleigh Massy, Xander Massey, Karsen Crowe, Daxton Crowe, and Gabe Doss. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Blythe and brother, Gary Blythe. A gathering will be held at the City County Park, Blue Building, on Sunday, January 29, 2023 starting at 12pm.
