Evelyn Dorothy Johnstone
June 12th, 1928 - May 9th, 2018
Evelyn (“Toots”) Johnstone passed away peacefully on May 9, 2018 at Rosewood Courte in Edmonds, WA. Born June 12, 1928 in Minto, ND, to James & Dorothy (Curtin) Moe. Often called one of the “kindest” and “nicest” of those on earth, she certainly will be missed by all fortunate enough to have known her. After spending her early years in North Dakota, she married Tom Johnstone on August 3 1950, and soon after settled in the Seattle area. In addition to her parents and loving husband of 47 years, she was preceded in death by her four brothers (Ernest, Eddie, Wilmar, and Harold). Evelyn is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A prayer service and inurnment will be held on June 12th 2018, at Holyrood Cemetery, 205 NE 205th St. Shoreline, WA, at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice.
