James Edward Foster, 56, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. The son of Gary and Jean Van Liew Foster, Jim was born November 30, 1966, in Newark, Ohio. An employee in the produce department at the Euclid Rd. Kroger, Jim loved to play poker, enjoyed his weekly crossword puzzle meets with his Uncle Mike, was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and loved to cook. In addition to his parents, Gary and Jean, Jim is survived by his brothers, Jeff Foster of Paris KY and John Foster of Lexington, his sisters, Julie (Greg) Harris of Lexington, and Janice (Bob) Watkins of Lexington, his nephews, Kevin (Aubrey) Ireland, Drew Harris, Max Watkins, Justin Watkins, and Adam Harris, as well as his beloved cat, Sophie. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, 601 E Brannon Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
