Dan L. Newton 63, of Denver, passed away on January 6, 2015 . He was born August 26, 1951 in Romulus, Michigan to Hubert Leroy Newton and Virginia Pentink Newton. Dan attended Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI and graduated in 1977. Dan married Paula Ann King on August 23, 1980. He was employed at Curian Capital as a Client Services Representative. Dan was an avid fly fisherman and truly enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt and camp. Dan was preceded in death by: Father: Hubert Leroy Newton, Mother: Virginia Pentink,Sister: Debbie Erhardt. He is survived by his wife, Paula King Newton, Jennifer King, sister-in-law, CO, Doug & Debbie King, brother/sister-in-law, MI and Courtney & Chris King, brother/sister-in-law, MI., Nephews: David Loiacano Jr. in CO, George Stephen Erhardt, in MI, Tyler King, MI, Jeremy King, MI, Shawn King, MI, Nieces: Alexandra Alkema, MI, Brittany DeVries, MI, Chelsea Luzum, MI, Niki Schreiber, MI and Tina King, FL A Celebration of Dan’s Life (Open House) will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, between the hours of 2:00pm and 6:00pm at: Annie’s Café, 3100 E. Colfax, Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank to the Dan Newton Memorial Fund.
