Donald (Don) A. Joos, age 71, passed away on October 15, 2018 while in his apartment in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Don was born on April 1, 1947 in Miles City, MT. However, he spent much of his life in WA, where he attended Mountlake Terrace High School, then earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from Seattle Pacific University. Upon graduation, he became a school teacher, spending about 25 years teaching English, Speech, and Drama in the Snohomish School District. Don had an active Christian faith, being heavily involved in the music ministry of multiple churches. He was married to Sherry from 1967-1995. In 1990, Don suffered a massive brain aneurysm, and for the past 28 years suffered from many ramifications as a result of that life-changing event. Though we grieve in our hearts, we are thankful for his entering into his eternal rest in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Don was predeceased by his father, Arthur Joos. He is survived by his mother Armina (Joos-Hendrick), his sister Sherryl (Greenig), his children Kyle and Taigen, and four grandchildren. There are no Memorial services planned.
