Emma Jean Starns, 93, widow of Leslie O. Starns passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, in Lexington, KY. She was born on December 17, 1929, in Lexington, KY to the late Ira Buck and Maggie Washburn. Emma worked as a distribution manager for Central Kentucky News in Lexington and a member of Broadway Christian Church in Lexington, KY. She is survived by two sisters, Betty (Bob) Quisenberry, Versailles, KY and Louise Kramer, Indianapolis, IN and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Reed and Lucy Schuler; three brothers, Raymond, Harold and Jimmy Washburn. A graveside service at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
