Susan Elizabeth Southworth
October 14th, 1950 - December 16th, 2018
Sue grew up in Ohio and Maryland. Attending Western Maryland College, Sue earned a degree in Art and Music History. After marrying, Sue added another degree in accounting which became her career in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Washington. Sue’s passions were painting, music, and design. She had a real love or gift for designing. And it all came so easy for her. Sue could envision a room from color, fabric choices, and furniture type, and finish. Her husband’s job was to make the vision a reality. In addition to raising two sons, Sue was a lifelong Dachshund owner and lover. From Bobo to Snoopy to Dolly to Mitzi to Boodles to Bailey, she never missed an opportunity to dote upon a Dachshund. Sue leaves her husband, Kim, of nearly forty-five years; sons, Peter (Amanda) and Andrew (Jessica); and a “brand new” grandson, Grayson Michael. Also surviving are Sue’s father, Thomas Jones; sister, Nancy Stumbo; and brother, Tom Jones. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Jones.
