Artours Daramus Chenault, 73, died February 2, 2024, in Lexington, Ky. He was born on May 22, 1950, to the late Thomas Chenault and Robbie Lester in Paris, Ky. Mr. Chenault was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was also a graduate of Lexington Baptist College. Artours retired from UPS after many years of diligent work. He then took his love and passion for the Lord to The Lexington Church where he was a Minister. Artours is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Brenda. His children, Artis Chenault and Cory Chenault. His siblings, Barbara Trammel, of Louisville, Rose Oldham, of Louisville, Regina (Doug) Willis, of Louisville, Leslie (Pauline) Lester, of Paris, and James (Debra) Jackson, of Lexington. His aunt, Anna Johnson. His grandchildren, Natasha Meyers, Mahogany Meyers, Brendan Meyers, Myles Chenault, Arissa Chenault, and Brenden Chenault. His great grandchild, Kyle Pitt. And a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Mr. Chenault will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 10am-12pm, a Funeral Service at 12pm both at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, and a burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Service.
