Ruby Nell Sewell, 99, widow of Willie Martin Sewell passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, in Lexington, KY. She was born in Burkesville, KY on August 9, 1924, to the late Walter and Anna Neeley. She was a member of Twin Lake Grace Church in Albany, KY, and loved gardening and baking. Ruby is survived by her only son, Douglas E. (Leah Frances Staples) Sewell, Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Stephen (Samantha) Sewell and Lee (Jill) Sewell; two great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Sewell and Anniston Katherine Sewell; four sisters, Golda (Dallas) Key, Norma (Preston) Riddle, Mary Ann (Hall) Spears and Gerry Jo (Charles) Lucas; four brothers, William Fred (Lillian) Neeley, Hall Edward Neeley, John Curtis Neeley, Bernal Gene Neeley. A graveside service will be at 3pm central time Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Memorial Hills Cemetery, Albany, KY.
