Gary D. Peercy, husband of Judith Peercy (York), was born to Nancy Carolyn and Carl Peercy in Panama City, Panama on February 18, 1955 and peacefully departed this life in Richmond, Kentucky on March 15, 2024. He was 69 years old. He was a loving husband to Judi for more than seventeen years, a loving father and grandfather and a proud Kentucky State Trooper for 29 years. Gary is survived by his two loving sons, Keith Peercy and wife, Ashley, and Chad Peercy all of Richmond, Kentucky, and stepson, Justin York of Lexington, Kentucky. He was a proud grandfather of Tate, Cannon, Cruz, Reese, and Beau. He is also survived by his loving mother-in-law, Carol Richer of Richmond, Kentucky and his loving sisters, Lisa Buchanan and husband, Randy of Georgetown, Kentucky and Kathy Brandenburg and husband, Douglas and brother, David Peercy all of Beattyville, Kentucky; and nephews, Scott Peercy and wife Jessica of Lexington Kentucky and Mitch Campbell of Jackson, Kentucky and great nephew, Casey Peercy and wife, Macie of Powel County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy Carolyn (Tirey) and Carl Peercy of Beattyville, Kentucky and father-in-law, Henry Richer of Williamsburg, Kentucky and niece Stacy Lynn Peercy of Lexington, Kentucky and nephew, Brett Brandenburg of Beattyville, Kentucky, There will be a Celebration of Life for Mr. Peercy on March 21, 2024 from 2-5pm at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville, Ky.
