Betty Lee Redden

Betty Lee Creekmur Redden September 24, 1936- January 12, 2021 Betty was born in Caldwell County KY, the daughter of Silas H. and Helen J. Blalock Creekmur, and youngest sister of William H. and Ray Creekmur, Loretta Smiley, and Ann Davis, all of whom predeceased her. She was married to James Donald Redden, who passed away in 1978. Betty is survived by daughters Debbie Rampey (Wayne) of Dallas, Texas; Karen Coppari (Lawrence) of Kingsport, TN, and Melissa Krueger of Versailles; grandchildren Jeff and David Rampey, Merry and Hannah Krueger; and cherished brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Betty was a longtime faithful member of Versailles Baptist Church. She was also the Woodford County Middle School Cafeteria Manager for many years and loved her interactions with the students there. It gave her great joy to be recognized by former students. As a proud survivor of multiple cancers, Betty was an enthusiastic participant in many Relays for Life. Betty loved and was well loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, Betty would have appreciated memorial donations to the Baptist Health Foundation KY or the charity of one’s choice. Due to Covid restrictions, services will be private.
