Jaquelin Smith Wilson, 75, wife of William H. Wilson III, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Jaquelin Rhodes Smith and John Dexheimer on August 21, 1945. Mrs. Wilson was a 1965 graduate of Cardone and worked in retail at Embry’s and Keenland for many years. She loved drinking coffee on her porch, talking with friends. In addition to her husband of 49 years, she will be lovingly remembered by her children, William H. (Julye) Wilson IV, Benjamin R. Wilson and Jaquelin P. Wilson, all of Versailles; her sister, Fran (Bill) Najdecki, NC, her brother, Howard (Joanna) Smith, CA and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the US Department of Veterans Affairs www.va.org.
