August 13th, 1934 - October 11th, 2021
Doris Reed, 87, widow of William H. Reed, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021. She was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Clara Swanger Hacunda on August 13, 1934. Mrs. Reed was a long time Horseback Riding Instructor and a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. When not spending time with horses, she enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, decorating for every holiday and bird watching. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Beverly Wagner, and Crystal Wheatley, both of PA, and Holly Lambdin, Versailles; her son, Daniel Reed, MO; her sister, Glayds Miller, PA; grandchildren, Nicole, Danny, Jr., Bret, Mike, Kelsey, Paula, and Kristen; 8 great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Betty Kessler. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Reed, her sister, Helen Yuhler and her brother, Paul Hacunda. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
