Versailles- Sherman Nave, 67, husband of Paula Jackson Nave, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021. He was a native of Woodford Co. and the son of Doris B. Nave and the late Charles Nave. Sherman retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky after 33 years of service with the Department of Revenue. In addition to his wife of 40 years and mother, Sherman is survived by the Easton Family; and his beloved cats - Mags and Gabby. He was preceded in death by his sister Janet Nave. Sherman was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time in the woods with his buddies, hunting and fishing. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the start of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Woodford Humane Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.clarklegacycenter.com
