Clinton Burnette Brown
April 6th, 2002 - May 5th, 2023
Clinton Burnette Brown passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2023. He was 21 years old. Clinton was born in Lexington, KY on April 6, 2002 to Brooklyn Parker and Victor Brown, and spent most of his life in Versailles, KY, where he graduated from Woodford County High School in 2020. As a child, Clinton was known for loving to spend time with his family, and his easy smile and goofy sense of humor made everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, and video games. Clinton was a student at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, taking classes in real estate and finance towards a Business major and was teaching himself coding and computer science skills as he followed his entrepreneurial interests. His gift to the world was his curiosity and his ability to make everyone remember that we should enjoy our lives. Clinton cherished the adventures and places he visited, the people who were with him, and the potential to learn and experience much more. He is survived by his parents, his siblings, Caleb Bernard Brown and Chloe Bella Brown, his grandmothers Karen Michalski and Mary Beatrice Mosley Brown, grandfathers Jesse Burnette Brown and Bill Conner Jr., aunts Vivian Brown-Williamson, Barbara Cole, Ashley Michalski, Karen Northern and Kimberly N. Parker, cousins John Carnell, Jr., Shaneque McGhee, Elliott Parker, Kayvon Murray, and many other great-aunts and great-uncles. A lantern festival in Clinton’s memory is on Wednesday, May 10 at Lewis Walton Park (336 Douglas Avenue) in Versailles, KY at 8:15 p.m. and a Celebration of Life is Friday, May 12 at 1-5 p.m. 133 Macey Boulevard in Versailles, KY.
