Helen Virginia O'Brien
October 15th, 1919 - November 21st, 2022
Helen V. O’Brien, née Crimmins died on November 20, 2022 at age 103. She is survived by 8 of her children: Elaine Connell and Bob, Bill, Tom, Marian, David, Daniel, and Kathleen O’Brien. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Helen was born in Manhattan and raised in Rockaway, NY, near the beach, which she loved. . She married Edward O’Brien in 1941 and moved to Seattle during WWII. She was a devout Catholic, a constant doer of good works and a hard working, steady, reliable, smart, loving mother who instilled those values in her children. She enjoyed crosswords, bridge and family gatherings. With her passing, the world lost a remarkable human being. Services will be held on December 9, 2022 at 10:00 at Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds, followed by a reception at the church. She will be interred at Holyrood Cemetery next to her husband, Edward, and son, Steve.
