I felt that my family was treated with compassion and understanding. I have limited experience in this type of situation, but I felt the process was explained well. It appeared that the prices were the going rates as far as I understood. We weren’t pressured into buying anything extra. Take care to not let your emotions push you to spend too much on extraneous items. I chose the rose and our daughters each additionally chose a rose and the fingerprint necklace.

Never thought I'd have the inclination to write a review about a mortuary, but with the experience I had, I couldn't help but to send out a huge THANK YOU to Kathleen and her team. They were amazingly helpful, direct yet sympathetic. My grandma recently passed last month, and Kathleen was our main point of contact at the mortuary to finalize her arrangements. The team was thorough, insightful, and respectful. I've done business with funeral homes before in the past and felt upsold with things I didn't need -- the team at Meldrum never did that. I'd highly recommend Kathleen and her team -- I don't know how they do the job they do, but they're incredible at it.
