Judith L. Mangus, 69 born on May 31st, 1947 returned to her heavenly home on March 8th,2017 after a valiant battle with breast cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Judy was born to the late Ellis Levi and Willie Mae Lindsey in Winter Haven, Florida. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. In 1966 she enlisted into the United States Army, where she proudly served her country. She worked as a corporate payroll specialist for 18 years at Scotty's Lumber and Home Improvement, 16 years at W.G Roe & Co. and 5 years at O.M.S. Judy is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Walter; Her son Keith Mangus (Kimm); her daughter Sandi Mangus Glenn (Alan); her grandchildren Josh Tanner, Caleb Mangus, and Kaylie Mangus; her brother Larry Lindsey Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara, and brothers Roger and Dewayne. Judy will be remembered for always sacrificing her needs for the good of her family. She was a selfless wife and mother who always had a smile on her face, even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength about her and never complained from the moment of her diagnosis until she passed into heaven. Judy had every right to cry, be mad, or even fall apart, but instead "She Loved" and lived every moment that was given to her until God called her home. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
