Mario Huertas , 90, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away May 23, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven , Florida . He was born on September 25, 1930 in Yabucoa , Puerto Rico to Francisco and Basilisa (Siso) Huertas. His fondness for Puerto Rico never left him and he returned to the island in semi-retirement and coordinated the construction of a beautiful home on a hillside overlooking Las Piedras, PR. Wanting to see more of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren he relocated to Winter Haven, FL but his birthplace of Puerto Rico was forever on his mind.
