Florence E. (Flo) Wilcox, 79, of North Port, Florida passed into God’s hands on Wednesday September 24, 2008. Mrs. Wilcox was born on November 25, 1928 in Pierpont, New York to Stanley and Mary (Collette) Northrup. Flo and her husband Don moved to Florida 32 years ago from North Kingsville, Ohio and have lived in North Port since their move. Flo was an employee of Eckerd Drugs for 28 years. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Don Wilcox of North Port; mother of, Tom, Rita, Rick and Lori, a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren are saddened by her death. She had many friends in North Port and elsewhere. At the request of the family, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Flo to the American Cancer Society, South Sarasota/Desoto Unit, 2801 Fruitville Road, Suite 250, Sarasota, FL 34237.
