Duane Bryson of Venice died August 24, 2008. He was born November 4, 1928 in Union City, OH. He was Senior Chief Petty Officer in the Navy for 25 years and was supervisor at the legal office in Newport for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Anne Bryson; children: Karen Bryson of Austin, TX, Linda Abatzis, Diane Petrelis and Liz Petrillo, all of Medford, MA; 6 grandchildren: Ramona Petrillo, Venessa Conley, Christian Petrillo, Michael Abatzis, Adam Abatzis, and Matthew Petrelis; 5 great grandchildren: Isabella, Ava, Cameron Petrillo and Jalina and Alexa Conley; sister, Velda Gray of Arcanum, OH; two nephews: Scott Gray of Springfield, OH and Jeffrey Gray of Louisville, KY; two nieces: Susan Hufford and Judy Ragan, both of Union City, OH.
