Brian Root, age 47, of Venice, Florida, passed away on May 11, 2008. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on January 7, 1961. He moved to Venice thirteen years ago from Orlando, Florida and owned a window cleaning company. He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Sharon; mother, Carolyn Alexander of Englewood, Florida; father, Robert Root of Orlando, Florida; brothers, Shawn Struble of Englewood, Florida, Scott Root of Venice, Florida and two sisters, Micki Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee and Sharyn Acker of North Port, Florida. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 12:00PM-1:30PM with a service to follow at New Life Assembly of God in Venice. Burial will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
