Dorothy Nummie Moulin, 83, of Venice, died peacefully March 4, 2008. She was born August 10, 1924 to Dominic and Minnie Altier. She lived in Youngtown, Ohio. In 1980 she moved to Venice, FL and worked along side her husband, Frank Moulin where they operated a family business, Omega Door Company. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was Nummie to everyone and all who met her, fell in love with her. What Dorothy loved most was being with her family and watching the babies grow up. Nummie will be sadly missed by her dog, Lovey Moulin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joanne Scianna and husband, Frank Moulin. Dorothy leaves her children: James Buonpane and his wife Nancy of Englewood, Richard Buonpane of Englewood and Georgeanne of Youngstown, Ross Scianna of Youngstown, and Debbie Scott and her husband Jim of Venice. She nurtured and raised eight grandchildren, Beth Angell, Lisa Kart, Heidi Aeppli, Amy Spath, Gina Buonpane, Jimmy Scott, Alexandria Scianna, and Justin Scott. Dorothy is survived by three great grandchildren, Ryan Angell, Jakob Aeppli, and Johnny Spath. Dorothy has six sisters and a brother: Margie Adams of Youngstown, Carmella Nemeth of Ft. Myers, Elsie Thoresen of Austintown, Ohio, Michael Altier of Winterhaven, Donna Lynn of Sarasota, Rosemary Ferreri of Venice and Patty Haimerl (deceased). She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM, March 8 at Venice Memorial Gardens.
