Grace S. Minnerly, age 101, of Venice, died on February 18, 2008. She was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on January 6, 1907 to James Edward and Mary Elizabeth Sherwood. Grace earned her nursing degree from St. Lukes hospital in New York City in the 40’s. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an Honorary Member of the Venice Yacht Club. She is survived by her daughter Judith T. Timm and husband Ronald H. Timm of Sheffield, MA; grandsons Kenneth R., Roderick K. (Karen), and Wayne G. Timm, all of Massachusetts; great grandchildren Joel A. Marcie H., and Ryan R. Timm, also of Massachusetts; sister Mabel Keeley of Greenwich, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph J. Tatro in 1942 and her second husband Walter F. Minnerly in 1986. She was also predeceased by her sisters Edna Smith, Helen Keaveney, Marjorie Sullo, and Minnie Lennon. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Services will be private.
