Dorothy Jean Hatfield, 78, passed away January 10, 2008 at the Peace River Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Dorothy was born April 16, 1929 in the township of Dunbar-Fayette County, Pennsylvania the daughter of the Henry and Clara (Hegner) Donner. She worked for IBM for 10 years as a Data Processor and also helped with teaching the system to students. Dorothy was the founder and president of the senior citizen singles club of North Port. Survivors include two sons; Jeffrey of North Port and Bradley and wife Cecily also of North Port, two sisters; Hazel Hamilton and Florence Piasecki, brother; Sonny Donner all of Pennsylvania, grand daughter; Jasmine Star Burns of Live Oak, grandson; Christopher Chad Hatfield of Tampa, grand daughter; Alycia Danielle Hatfield North Port, and two great grandchildren; Chloe Reese and Wyatt Wesley Burns both of Live Oak.
