Stephanie (Florio) Perez, 79 of Venice, Florida passed away Saturday, December 15, 2007 in Naples, Florida. Stephanie was born March 18, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Eleanor Florio. She and her husband Richard moved to Venice four years ago from New Jersey. She was an Administrative Assistant for 20 years with the Supreme Court in Richmond County, New York until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Venice, a loving mother and wife and will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Richard, daughter; Eleanor Rosenthal of Sarasota, Florida, son; Richard J. of Osprey, Florida, two sisters; Ann Pesce of New Jersey and Grace Poggi of Plainview, Long Island, brother; Tom Florio of Wellington, Florida , four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A visitation will be held for Stephanie on Monday, December 17, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Venice with burial to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Stephanies name to the Scleroderma Foundation, Attn: donations, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
