Raymond A. Pieroni
January 24th, 1912 - November 21st, 2007
Raymond A. Pieroni, 95, of Rotunda West, Florida, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on November 21, 2007. Raymond was a general manager for the OTD Corporation in Texas and also worked as a private contractor welding submarines in the San Francisco ship yard during World War II. He came to Florida in 1982 from Chicago. He is survived by his son, Frank and daughter-in-law, Margaret Pieroni of Rotunda West; sisters, Jane and Nellie of Chicago and Gina of Arizona. He is also survived by grandchildren, Anita Krone Ferguson of Englewood, Florida, Lisa Marie Pieroni of Chatsworth, California; great grandchildren, Staff Sgt. Jesse J. Krone, stationed in Mosul, Iraq and Maggie Maree Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora and brothers, Louis, Chester, Frank, Albert and Andy. A graveside service will be private at Venice Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
