John H. Sidgmore, Jr., age 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on October 13, 2007. He was born in Spring Valley, New York on August 30, 1924. He was a Public Accountant and Finance Manager in Rockland County, New York and retired in 1969. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1990 from Spring Valley, New York. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Patricia Jancin of Leesburg, Virginia; son, Thomas J. Sidgmore of Englewood, Florida and a daughter-in-law, Randi Sidgmore of Potomac, Maryland. He also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Michael John Sidgmore, Thomas Joseph Sidgmore, Jr., Kyrie Jancin, Krysta Jancin, Patrick Jancin, Timothy (Tammy) Bonisolli and two great-grandchildren, Danielle & Amber Bonisolli. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007 from 5:00-7:00PM at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 -10:30AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, Florida. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements. Friends may visit anytime online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com to sign the guest register book and extend condolences to the family.
