Marcella F. Stevenson, a longtime Venice, FL resident, died on September 19, 2007. She was born in Jackson, Ohio, and came to Venice from Poland Ohio. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a Venice Hospital Auxiliary volunteer for 20 years. Marcella was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Stevenson. She is survived by her son, Steve Stevenson of North Olmstead, Ohio; daughters Sharon Edwards of Gainesville, FL and Barbara Seward of Venice, FL; brothers Edgar Beatty of Jackson, Ohio, Rodger Beatty of Wellston, Ohio, Ronald Beatty of Circleville, Ohio, Donald Beatty of Dublin, Ohio, and Bernard Beatty of Winston Salem, North Carolina; sisters Bernice Hunsinger of Columbus, Ohio, and Marjorie Baeher of Gahanna, Ohio; and 3 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on October 13, 2007 at 1 PM at Eisnaugle, Lewis Funeral Home in Jackson, Ohio. Mrs. Stevenson supported both the American Cancer Society and Hospice. The family would appreciate memorial donations in her name to either organization.
