Harry Behr, 60, of Venice, FL passed away on June 11, 2007. Born in Malchow, Germany on July 25, 1946, he immigrated to the United States in 1956. Harry served in Vietnam as a US Marine. He worked as a chef at the St. Regis and the Plaza in New York, having become one of their youngest Sous Chefs. Harry came to live in Venice in 1986. Survivors include his wife of 31 years Peggy; two sons, Harry Jr. of Venice, FL, Jeremiah and wife Jess of Tamaqua, PA; three daughters, Angel Junker and husband Sean of Jacksonville, FL, April Kidwell and husband Sean of Venice, FL, Amy Behr of North Port, FL; mother Margaret Julich of Venice, FL; twelve grandchildren, Ethan of Jacksonville, FL, Destry of Lakeland, FL, Ethan and Elisa both of Wildwood, FL, Kora, Sklar and Sierra all of Venice, FL, Krystal of Englewood, FL, Robert, Joy and Jeremiah all of Tamaqua, PA, Jenna of north Port, FL.
