Mary Ann Bradshaw
September 21st, 1946 - April 21st, 2007
Mary Ann Bradshaw, 60, of North Port, Florida and Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on April 21, 2007. She was born on September 21, 1946 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, the eldest daughter of Durwood and Grace Crago. She graduated from Granby, MA High School and entered into a career in the banking industry. She specialized in international banking culminating in her appointment as Vice President and General Manager of the international banking department at NCNB (now Bank of America) in Charlotte, NC. She joined American Management Systems in 1995 and assisted in the creation and installation of computerized banking systems until her retirement. Mary Ann and her husband purchased a home in North Port in 2001 and spent winters there and summers on beautiful Cayuga Lake in Seneca Falls, NY. She was a passionate and creative quilter and belonged to and was active in quilt guilds in both locations. She loved to play bridge and golf with the girls and entertain her friends in her home. She has maintained many friendships over the years as she has traveled about and will be deeply missed by her husband, family, and friends. She is survived be her husband, Barry, her sisters, Dorothy Parcell (Scott) of Fairbanks, AK, and Roberta Martin (David) of Madison Heights, VA, and her brother, Walter Crago (JoAnne) of Madison Heights, VA. She is also survived by her stepson, Gene Bradshaw (Amy) of Wexford, PA, and stepdaughters Janelle Bradshaw Walters (Donald) of Waterloo, NY Michelle Bradshaw of Springfield, TN, and Beth Ann Portee (Craig) of Babylon, NY, and her loving nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in North Port at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 with Pastor Wayne Chaplin officiating. A graveside service will be held in Virginia and a memorial service will be held in New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 5550 S. Sumter Blvd. North Port, FL 34287, or the United Methodist Church of Waterloo, 21 E. Williams St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Arrangements are by Farley Funeral Home, North Port. Friends may visit anytime online at www.farleyfuneralhome.com to sign guest register book and extend condolences to the family.
