Vance L. Moore, 64, died October 30, 2006. He was born January 28, 1942 in Lansing, MI. He has been a resident of Sarasota County for 30+ years. He was a Supervisor for Sarasota County Transportation., having retired in 2004. Survivors include his wife Linda of North Port, FL; eight children: Wendy Mills of Alexandria, VA, Brandi Moore of Lansing, MI, Vance Moore II of Sarasota, FL, Michele Earl of Pottersville, MI, Michael Jordan of Brighton, MI, Carol Hess of Sarasota, FL, Mark Kichline of Pasadena, TX, Matthew Kichline of Fort Myers, FL; twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Macklem of Coldwater, MI and two brothers: Mark Moore and Dennis Moore both of Lansing, MI. A Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM.
