Carolyn B. Crosby, 77, died August 12, 2006. She was born May 24, 1929 in Drexel Hill, PA and later lived in New Jersey and Ohio. She moved to Venice, FL in 1978 having come from Etna, NY. She is survived by her husband, Richard W., of 57 years; daughter, Carol Ann Mathews of Bradenton, FL; sons: Richard D. of Venice, FL, James R. (Ilene) of North Port, FL and Charles Michael of Milton, PA; three grandchildren: Jacqalyn, Kenneth and Michael; and one great grandson, Zaccory. She is also survived by two brothers: Russell Burlew of Wisconsin and Ralph Burlew of New York. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 21475, St. Petersburg, FL 33742 or the American Lung Association, Gulfcoast Area, 12734 Kenwood Lane, Suite 25, Fort Myers, FL 33907 or the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 69, Venice, FL 34284-0069. Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory, Venice chapel, is in charge.
