Nancy A. Mierke, 73, of North Port passed away on April 23, 2006. She was born August 26, 1932 in Albany, New York and moved to the area in 1999 from Temple, PA. She was an office manager for Foster Pet Food Company. Mrs. Mierke was Catholic and served in Air Force. She was a Charter member of the Women’s Memorial Foundation. Survivors include her husband, Ralph of North Port; a son, Mark Conger of Neptune, NJ; a stepdaughter, Christine Mierke of Lyons, NY; a brother, Russell Brother of Albany, NY; and a sister, Mary Jean Canfora of Hudson, FL. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May, 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel.
