Glenn Allen Chadwell, age 76, of Worthington, OH and a winter resident of Venice, FL for 15 years, died unexpectedly on April 19, 2006 in Bradenton, FL. He was born on October 31, 1929 in Millfield, OH. He was an insurance agent for Columbus Life Insurance Company and then Vice President of Western Southern Life Insurance Company until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the Worthington United Methodist Church and of the York Golf Club, Worthington, OH. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish rite in Worthington, OH. He is survived by his wife, Donna Chadwell (nee Poling) of Worthington, OH; sons, Steven W. Chadwell of Columbus, OH; Randy A.; Michael G. and David H. Chadwell all of Worthington, OH; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral Services and interment will be held at a later date in Worthington, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Columbus, OH 43085; or to the Glenn Chadwell Track & Golf Scholarship, c/o Thomas Worthington High School, P.O. Box 434. Worthington, OH 43085. Farley Funeral Home and Crematory, Venice Chapel is handling arrangements.
