Margaret Ann Farnsworth
February 9th, 1915 - March 6th, 2006
Margaret Ann Farnsworth, 91, of Venice died March 6, 2006. She was born February 9, 1915 in Clinton, Indiana and moved here from there in 1985. She owned and operated the Cayuga Herald Newspaper for ten years when she retired in 1964. She also owned the Farnsworth and Associates American States Insurance Company. She was a Delta Theta Tau, Eastern Star, Past Grand Worthy Matron and Venice Hospital Volunteer. She is survived by her son Charles (Chuck) S. Farnsworth of Casey Key, Florida; sister Beti Naughle of Leesburg, Florida; several nieces and nephews; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Nokomis in the Pines Saturday 1 P. M. Burial of cremated remains will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. Farley Funeral Home and Crematory Venice Chapel in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association South Sarasota 2801 Fruitville Road, Suite 250 Sarasota, Florida 34237.
