Joseph Fusco
April 15th, 1935 - January 29th, 2022
Joseph R. Fusco, 86, of Nokomis Florida, formerly of Ridge Road, North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at the Sarasota Memorial Venice Hospital, FL. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Susan Tarducci Fusco. Joseph was born in New Haven on April 15th, 1935 and was the son of the late Marcelino and Jennie Palmieri Fusco. He served his country faithfully in the US Army. He had worked as a Service Manager for the former Goodrich Oil which later became Kasden Oil for many years until his retirement. Joseph was an avid boater, enjoyed hunting and frequent trips to the casino where he loved to play poker. Father of Lorraine Happy (William), Jodi Fusco and Joseph M. Fusco (Katie Mulqueen). Grandfather of Jennifer Sollas (Richard), Frank J. Rubino and Breana Cook (Collin). Great Grandfather of Alexa Sollas, Angelo Rubino and Liliana Cook. Predeceased by a brother Eugene Fusco. The visiting hours will be Thursday, Feb.10th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Church at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Friday, Feb. 11th at 12 Noon. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4-B, Southington, CT 06489
