Kurt Karl Krier

Kurt Karl Krier of Venice, Florida formerly of Lake Orion, Michigan went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 6, 2022. He passed away at age 56 from a sudden heart attack. Kurt was born October 3, 1965, in West Allis, Wisconsin. Kurt was a Global Business Director with Dow/DuPont for 22 years and Ford Motor Company for 12 years. He earned his Electrical Engineering Degree from Lawrence Tech University and Masters in International Business from Wayne State University. He is survived by his wife Pamela Krier; son Nathan Krier; daughter Nicole Krier; parents Shirley Krier and Gary W. Krier; brother Keith Krier (Mary); sisters Kristi Pulliam (Rob) and Karin Julian (Dennis); brother-in-laws Robert E. Lotan (Denise), Keith Lotan (Dawn), and Patrick Lotan (Sandy); sisters-in-laws JoAnn Lotan and Cheryl Lotan; and many nieces and nephews. Kurt was preceded in death by his grandparents Mae and Donald Miller; father-in-law Robert W. Lotan; and mother-in-law Rita Syrowik. Kurt loved and led his family faithfully and humbly as a selfless provider and protector. He took joy in making memories with his family on various vacations and boating on Lake St. Clair. He was a passionate Green Bay Packers and Michigan State Spartans fan. Kurt was the ultimate handyman and enjoyed building, landscaping, gardening, and spending spare time at Home Depot. He will always be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, tender heart, strong work ethic, and unconditional love for his family. Visitation will be held for Kurt, Friday, March 18, 2022, from 1-3:00pm at Grace Community Bible Church, 1045 US-41 BYP, Venice, FL 34285 followed by a funeral service beginning at 3:00pm.
