Donna Ann Smith, 86, of Venice, Florida, passed away on June 27, 2022, at Orchid Cove. Donna was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 27, 1935. Donna worked as a teacher, business owner, and artist. The last few years, Donna was a devoted servant to the Lord at Venice Presbyterian Church of Venice and the women’s church groups. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, devoted wife, and wonderful friend to so many. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick W. Smith. She is survived by her children, Dr. Randall Smith of Chicago, Illinois, and Kim (Rick) Brennan of Vero Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Patrick (Liz) Smith, Brent (Zainab) Smith, Colleen (Jack) Baker; great granddaughter, Ella Smith; sisters, Dawn Sutherland of Florida, Carol (Johnn) Foushi of Florida; brothers, Fred Hub Jr, of Chicago, Illinois, and James Hub of Chicago, Illinois. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Donna’s name to be sent to Venice Presbyterian Church, 825 The Rialto, Venice, Florida 34285.
