Paul A. Cosenza We are heartbroken to announce the death of Paul A. Cosenza, 85 of Venice Florida. Paul passed away peacefully on Thursday July 21, 2022. Paul was born in Brooklyn NY on May 21, 1937. Paul was a devout Catholic with an unwavering faith in God. He was incredibly knowledgeable in sports history. He was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were NY Mets and NY Giants. He liked golfing and horse racing. He had a passion for all food, prepared amazing Italian specialities and embraced entertaining. He had an uncanny ability to spark conversation with anyone he met. Most importantly, he cherished his friends and family. Paul was always happy, smiling, incredibly generous and was a kind soul. He loved to share stories and was either laughing or bringing laughter to others. Paul’s legacy will live on through his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elaine, daughter Christine (Ron), grandchildren Madison, Riley and Aidan, Prescott, WI; son John and grandson Jessie, Florida; sister Maria, Monroe, New Jersey; brother Salvatore (Belle), Scottsdale, Arizona. Many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father Carmelo Cosenza, mother Giovanna Falcone, and sister Serafina Basile. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Venice, FL on Thursday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. Paul’s family would like to thank the incredible nurses and doctors who cared for him. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Make a Wish America: wisconsin.wish.org
