Betty Jean Lemasters
June 28th, 1930 - December 2nd, 2022
Betty Lemasters, age 92, of Venice, Florida, passed away on December 2, 2022. She was born on June 28, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri. Betty was Professor Doctorate in Education, RN at Lindenwood University and was the previous director of Nursing at St. Lukes Hospital. After retirement Betty moved to Venice from St. Charles, Missouri in 2000. She was a regular contributor to The Pink sisters Chapel in St. Louis, MO, The Wildlife Center in Venice, FL. The Humane Society and the Audubon Society. Betty is survived by her three sons, Geoff Lemasters and his wife Jill of Houston, Texas, Greg Lemasters and his wife Robin of St. Louis, Missouri, Chris Lemasters of Springfield, Missouri and a daughter, Martha Kenny and her husband Bill of Cape Coral, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Margaret Donley and her two sisters, Patricia Kuehl and Rosemary Marshall. A Celebration of Life is being planned to be held in January 2023. Please feel free to contact her daughter, Marty for more information on the gathering. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter.
