Deanne Andrée O’Neil age 85 of Venice, FL passed away on August 08, 2023. Deanne was born on September 25 1937, in Wellsville, NY to Charles and Jeanne Grohman. Deanne lived in Morris Plains, NJ before relocating to Nokomis, FL in 1987 after her retirement. She worked as a research biologist with a major pharmaceutical company and a teacher of secondary science, she retired in 1986. Deanne was a Speaker for the Florida Chapter of the American Cancer Society and also a board member of St. Francis Animal Rescue of Venice She is preceded in death by her husband Mark Edward O’Neil and parents Charles and Jeanne Grohman. Left to cherish her memory is her son Walter Chad Murray of Atlanta, GA; brother Michael (Patricia) Grohman of Clearwater, FL; niece Tricia Kolarik of Simpsonville, SC; nephews Timothy (Lisa) Grohman of San Diego, CA and Andrew (Juliana) of Charlotte, NC; and stepson James (Susan) O’Neil of San Francisco, CA. A graveside service will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Monday September 25, 2023 at 10am.
