Constance S. Blum

Constance Blum, 92 of Venice FL passed away peacefully on September 21, 2023. Constance was born in New Jersey to Charles Schifflin and Florence Schifflin. She had four loving siblings. She attended college and then pursued a long successful career in real estate. She always had a love for Florida and had lived here for over 30 years. She was a long-time member of Sarasota Yacht Club. She loved boating, golfing and being a very big part of the community. She had a passion for fashion and organized and ran many fashion shows. Constance was very involved with her Catholic Church, Ava Maria University, St. Leo’s Catholic University, Catholic Charities and many more. She was a very generous woman and will be loved and missed by many. Constance Blum was preceded in death by her parents, husband Martin C. Blum, DDS, and her son Peter Wayne. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Robins, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; her sister, Cecilia Mallgraf and many other beloved family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 28th at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice followed burial at Venice Memorial Gardens.
