In Loving Memory of Dr. George A. Angello Jr.: A Life Well-Lived On October 2, 2023, the world lost a remarkable individual, Dr. George A. Angello Jr., at the age of 77. His passing was peaceful, and his legacy will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. George dedicated 28 years to the practice of optometry, offering his expertise and care to the community of Northampton, Pennsylvania. Born on June 17, 1946, in Bradford, PA, he embarked on a journey that would touch the lives of many. George's greatest source of joy and companionship was his loving wife and best friend, Carolyn Angello, who stood by his side for an incredible 55 years. Their bond was an inspiration to all who witnessed it, a testament to the enduring power of love and partnership. The impact George made extended beyond his profession and into his role as a devoted father. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his three children: Toni Wheeler and her husband, Jim Wheeler, of Kunkletown, PA; George A. Angello Ill and his wife, Sandy Angello, of Salisbury, MD; and Jonathan P. Angello of Las Vegas, Nevada. Their lives are a reflection of the values he instilled and the guidance he provided. George's presence will be profoundly missed by his three cherished grandchildren: Camaryn J. Wheeler, Jamison T. Wheeler, and George (AJ) Angello IV. He shared a special bond with each of them, leaving behind memories that will forever shape their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Shriners Children's Hospital P.O. Box 1525 Ranson, WV 25438, or online at donate.lovetotherescue.org. This gesture of kindness aligns with George's spirit of giving and compassion, ensuring that his legacy continues to impact lives in a meaningful way. A visitation for George will be held on November 2, 2023, at 9 am at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, FL with funeral service immediately following at 10 am. Interment with military honors to follow at 2 pm at Sarasota National Cemetery. As we bid farewell to George A. Angello Jr., let us remember him for his unwavering love, his dedication to family and community, and his ability to inspire all who crossed his path. His memory will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and to live each day with purpose and grace.
